This blog will focus on college basketball while venturing into the other sports as their season's take shape. Since it's starting in February the first few posts may be outdated but will be a sampling of the hoops ideas from this season.

Milan
Is playing awesome. His whole line is. Ryder looked like a young Kevin Ring in between the pipes!
Sometimes I Don't Know What's Going On Upstairs
GO BRUINS...I'M PUMPED...I AM NOW REALIZING THAT I TRULY HAVE BEEN WAITING ALL DAY FOR THIS
Notes
I wanna fire this off pretty quick, knowing the B's drop the puck and the hammer in 45 minutes.
1. Mike Fratello stop saying "imagine how hard it was when you couldn't inbound the ball from the front to the backcourt"...that hasn't been a rule in my lifetime...and i'm older than I like to admit.
2. Indiana-When you are up 82-68 and win 89-84 with multiple TO's and 24 second violations in the last 4 minutes...PUT AJ PRICE in the game. The dude can score. Or at least throw up a 30 footer as the shot clock expires which is better offense than whatever you were running.
3. I think Kelly scores the first goal of the night on rebound, but someway, somehow I'm beginning to feel a first line: Lucic, Krejci, Horton goal. Let's go B's.
4. If Derrick Rose is allowed to sprint headfirst into standstill center's and power forwards in the later rounds of the playoffs and continues to end up at the foul line I'm going to lose it. He's also going to cement himself as one of those guys who, "I know you're great, but I can't stand you (reference Chris Paul)."
5. A-Gon is starting to rip the ball Oppo...watch out baby. How can you not love pretty much everything about Pedroia? I see him in the dugout talking about the caught stealing/balk against Oakland as he mimics the move and then inserts his own colorful commentary. The dude's a ballplayer. Very cool. Just ask Jeff Francis.

Peverly
Is fast. His attack on the Penalty Kill at the end of the 3rd period was big. Obviously his shot led to Ryder's OT GW. He was one of the top 4 reasons the B's won. WAY TO GO RICH!
Admittedly
I don't watch a lot of hockey. Going into tonight's Game 4 I had probably seen 160 of 180 minutes of the B's/Canadiens series (woulda been 180 but someone who will remain nameless had 1000 Gin & Tonic's and didn't want to watch Game 2 after it was 2-0 (don't worry family members it wasn't a Taylor)). So as I am about to criticize Lucic, he immediately (I mean as I'm typing) turns the puck over to Cammaleri for a breakaway. Nice save Tim. I don't have Lucic's SOG numbers for the series but I bet they are low. I mean ridiculously low. I blow past the Chara DNP towards Lucic having 0 goals on the series. I don't think he is strong enough. And he isn't a fast guy. Go to the weight room. Caveat, I would like to see Seguin. Use some speed against the Canadiens. Literally he gets lots of passes in the center of the offensive zone and is pushed off the puck or just pushed off his shot. Go to the weight room. Ala the Knicks in the NBA playoffs this offensive player is having a lot of problems with playoff defense. I am the eternal optimist, so let's go tie it up MILAN BABY!!! But, right now I think he is the biggest reason the B's are down in the series.
